Drain Cleaner

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems
  • Perform minor to non-complex service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments

This position is in a high-paced call center that handles orders and emergency service for residential accounts. This position will focus on gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships with them.  This position involves cold calling new potential customers to provide them with all services offered and working with existing customers to sell/provide additional services

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated diesel mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty diesel-powered CDL tractors to ensure our crews have safe available equipment.


The Diesel Mechanic position is based out of Lakeville, MA.


  • Perform electrical, hydraulic, air brakes, and mechanical repairs, as well as preventive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Determine which parts and tools are necessary for the assignment

Job purpose


This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste and has direct contact with Bay State Sewage Disposal Inc.’s customers.

Responsibilities include operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to pump.


Duties and responsibilities


• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with Bay State Sewage Disposal Inc.’s DOT requirements.

• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency(get truck ready, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip maintenance inspections (check fluids, tires, supplies) and document checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.)

• Pump the total number of gallons of non-hazardous waste that is noted on the work order.

• Once pump truck is full dump the waste at a specific waste disposal dump specified by the dispatcher.

• Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order in the Salesforce CRM and provide any recommended maintenance or service to customer.

• Collect payment from customer if noted on work order.

• Fill out necessary Board of Health paperwork for required towns.

• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner.

• Follow all Bay State Sewage Disposal Inc.’s protocols.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications


• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Must Hold a Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement

• Must have knowledge of using IPad 

• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road test 

• High-School Diploma or equivalent

Job purpose


This position is responsible for the coordination and utilization of drivers and trucks maximizing productivity to ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all our customers.

The Dispatcher will work alongside customer service and operations personnel to help coordinate scheduling, manage communication, and will plan and assess the dispatch of drivers to meet customer expectations. Responsible for managing a group of drivers with dual goals to maintain a high level of on time customer service and supporting driver needs while directing their work.  The position holds a prominent level of responsibility for service, productivity and driver retention.

• Communicate with and manage drivers via phone, text and Salesforce about jobs, trip planning, maintenance and all other aspects involving drivers.

• Maintain accurate computer dispatch via Salesforce Field Service and scheduling records to ensure smooth and accurate communication flow.

• Ensure drivers have all paperwork/info necessary to complete their jobs.

• Maintain a respectful attitude when dealing with drivers, co-workers potential customers, to help foster existing relationships and build new ones.

  • Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 30+ users across both internal users and field users.

Job Requirements:

Provide effective communication between customers and Bay State Sewage Disposal, Inc.

Inspect grease trap buildup and hazards.

Remove grease buildup from commercial kitchen grease trap systems.
